If you can get through the porn, swearing, and general ugliness, WickedFire has some of the best minds in monetizing websites on the internet. But do not click on links without checking them or be sensitive, it is worse than a bikers bar combined with Animal House.

Tom – I can’t tell if that is a testimonial or a slap in the face for the WikedFire site. I’m enticed to check it out, but scared, all at the same time.

Tom – I’m enticed to check it out, but scared, all at the same time. I love that you're keeping it real as always!

I'm glad digitalpoint forum was included. I'm a member of it and I was actually warned for posting too much discussions. :-)

No forum is going to warn a member for posting too much. Perhaps you were breaking their rules or terms of service?

  34. scootyboy0304 | 27/01/10

Great post…I'm always intrigued how there seems to be a separation between aptitudes of designers vs. internet marketers. I'm going to check out the links you provided and let you know that I've actually learned alot from blogs and various marketing products offered by online marketing gurus like Jimmy D. Brown, Mike Filsaine, Jeff dedrick, Josh Spaulding, etc. I believe that taking their advice in conjunction with good design principles can be invaluable.

  35. Adam | 25/04/10

I agree with the list and visit all (except V7 network), but would have to say that Sitepoint is number one. Digital point seems to have more people with less experience, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but can get a little annoying.

  36. Spyros | 15/05/10

I think that the very well known warrior forum is one to be included in this list for sure.
