I had an english teaching website that had its own wikipedia page. It was up for close a year before they decided to close it down. I actually won the vote, but still one of the over zealous editors bumped it off.

I still maintain links from a few articles and they bring in several visitors a day from the entries.

I am in Wikipedia. I write books and have 60+ under my belt. The entry is short and set up as a “stub.” It says:

“This article about a United States writer of non-fiction is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.”

I’d like to expand it, but I don’t think I’m allowed to. Or am I? I’d hate to see someone else do it and get the facts wrong.

It’s nice that it links to my site, though.
