Boy am I annoyed! I, like hundreds, if not thousands of others, was excited about the launch of ReviewMe last month. My first review request came in, and I followed all directions to the letter, posting my review of the company requesting it on November 23.
It is now December 18th. I have not recieved a check from ReviewMe yet!
I contacted the company on December 7th to find out how payment is handled and I was told after 2 emails that payment is calculated on the first of the month and will be sent out no later then the 4th of the month.
Did I Mention that Today is the 18th and I have not recieved a check from ReviewMe yet?
I wrote the company back on the 11th asking if I’d ever see my money, and was told to contact them if nothing arrived by the 15th. I have not heard back.
I’ve scoured the ReviewMe website and cannot find a contact phone number. I’m stuck waiting for them to email me back. Given the reputation of the site’s founders, I’d expect better service and support. Unfortunately, what I get is cold and impersonal service. The three emails sent to me have all been from “ReviewMe Support” - there is no one’s name affiliated with their support, and again, there is no phone number attached - just: support@reviewme.com.
I hope this is just an anomaly. Regardless, I highly recommend the folks of ReviewMe get their act together.
Anyone else waiting to get paid?

1It is Tuesday evening - 19th of December - and I still have not gotten paid. Its funny - today, I had another review request, which I’d love to write, but until I see the money, I’m not going to waste my time.

2Wednesday night - December 20th - nothing still. I’ve written 2 emails to the company and they are now ignoring me. I tried to call the number listed on their whois info, and left a message there - seemed like a personal number.
I’m very much doubting that I’ll ever see a penny at this point.

3I did want to let you all know that we were able to resolve the ReviewMe situation amicably. I just think they don’t have the customer service infrastructure properly in place.

4Josh, I just submitted few reviews at reviewme.com. I felt strange to received an email saying that my review has been approved after few minutes I have submitted the permalink to the particular review’s URL.
I heard my friend said the payment will be made in monthly. I’m sure yet, seem now I have to wait until next month then I will only know whether they really pay us or not.

6I’ve heard ups and downs for ReviewMe. From an SEO standpoint, their concept is extremely well thought out. Pay people to write posts about a site and get relevant backlinks to their site on a relevant page. I signed up for an account, but never got accepted, and I probably wouldn’t get much per post since my technorati authority is pretty low. Good luck with getting your payments though!
