I’ve always wanted to set up a Wiki, but was never brave enough. Today is that day. After comparing wikis, I’ve decided to use MediaWiki software as my platform. I’ll keep everyone posted with how things go.

Since then, I’ve set up my first wiki (it is a work in progress), a real estate wiki. The set up was really easy - like most scripts, the basic install just required setting up a php/mySQL database, a few configurations, and we were ready. I went with the same choice. Only difference was, I really didn’t search for a script, just saw the Wikipedia’s was free, so I went with it.
